Introducing Bonsucro Connect

Bonsucro is delighted to announce the launch of a new IT platform, Bonsucro Connect.

The cloud-based platform will enable users to demonstrate and monitor sustainability in their supply chain. The many features include:

  • Online version of the Bonsucro Calculator
  • Visualisations of performance for producers for mills and farms (live benchmarking through a ‘smart dashboard’)
  • Volume and trade management of certified material for traceability
  • Facilitation of the audit process
  • Scorecards to track progress

Access to invaluable global networks involved with agronomy, processing and milling, sustainability and social rights;

Ability to shape the global model by imparting your specific technical/scientific expertise as a potential member of one or more of the Bonsucro Committees.

  • To apply for Bonsucro membership please complete the online form below. The form should be completed in English by a person authorised to do so on behalf of the applicant organisation.

    Any organisation who applies to become a Member hereby agrees and undertakes to comply with the following: 1-) the Articles of Association; 2-) The Governance Framework Rules and Regulations; 3-) the Code of Conduct and its annex on Competition Law; 4-) the Complaints Resolution Process; and 5-) any other codes, agreements or other documents as may be drafted, approved and/or issued by the Board, any Committee, Task Force, Working Group and/or the Secretariat from time to time and to which the Members are subject.

  • Bonsucro represents all elements of the sugarcane supply chain, and members join one of five classes:
  • A group co-operative, association, farm company or other comparable entity.
  • Sugarcane mills with or without annex refineries that are subject to certification. Miller associations also fall into this category.
  • A non-profit organisation/entity that has a distinct agenda but does not advocate or represent a group of companies, people, or others with a commercial interest in the sugarcane industry.
  • A company that adds value or transports sugarcane derivatives, as well as companies that are enablers to the sugarcane industry such as agrochemical companies and equipment companies. Specific intermediaries are traders and independent refineries. Also includes intermediary associations..
  • A company that utilises sugarcane derivatives as a product to sell to consumers or customers.
  • Confidentiality

  • Bonsucro will not use or disclose any information collected about you other than for the purpose for which it has been provided. Your details will not be sold or passed on to any other individual or organisations.
